ATOC Stage 4 - Another Sprint Finish; DZ Remains in 3rd
Clovis - Finally the Amgen Tour of CA experienced some sunshine. The 115mi stage from Merced to Clovis was raced under clear skies and cool weather, and after an active day including a long 3-man break which failed to stick it boiled down to another big rush to the line. Garmin/Slipstream speedster Tyler Farrar is quickly becoming know as a real player in these situations and pulled off an impressive 5th place finish amongst the world's best. Teammate Dave Zabriskie remains in 3rd overall.
Action continues tomorrow with the longest stage of the 9-day event, 135mi from Visalia to Paso Robles.
