Farrar 2nd in TdF Stage 2!
France - Tyler Farrar (USA) took 2nd in the 2009 Tour de France's stage 2, a 187K stage from Monaco to Brignoles which ended in a high-speed bunch sprint. The Garmin team did a fantastic job of delivering Tyler to the line but he could not quite come around eventual stage winner, Mark Cavendish.
The overall standinds did not change and Bradley Wiggins (GBR - left) remains in 3rd overall.
